Cogeneration system

The thermochemical water splitting chemical process named as "IS process" can produce hydrogen without emitting carbon dioxide using the high-temperature heat of HTGRs. TThe Gas Turbine High Temperature Reactor 300 for Cogeneration (GTHTR300C) with the reactor outlet coolant temperature of 950ÂșC (temperature of heat available) can generate power with high efficiency and produce hydrogen in parallel (cogeneration). The design of the GTHTR300C, which is based on the design of the GTHTR300, is now being conducted.
