Dismantling of Piping Connected to the Reactor Pressure Vessel by Disk Cutter
The cutting of piping with a disk cutter is carried out by causing plastic deformation of pipes by pressing and rolling the disk edge on the inner surface of the pipe. This method is especially suitable for pipes that are located in difficult to access areas, such as in the nozzle parts of the reactor pressure vessel.
