We provide training courses for employees to improve advanced and specialized knowledge and skills related to fast breeder reactors.

In training courses, employees learn about liquid metal sodium which is a coolant for fast breeder reactors and acquire the relevant techniques as follows;

・Fundamental property and maintenance technology of liquid metal sodium

・Specialized knowledge and skills on sodium fire extinguishing

・Basic maintenance techniques of the general equipment

・Handling techniques for the equipment unique to “Monju”

・Properties and handling techniques of sodium

・Methods of draining sodium, purification of sodium and measuring purity of sodium using sodium loops
