While Russian invasion of Ukraine ever amid rising global concern regarding nuclear security of nuclear facilities, ISCN's “Regional Training Course (RTC) on Physical Protection of Nuclear Material and Facilities” was featured by NHK (Japan's public broadcasting) on 27 October 2022.
In this time, a trainee, Ms. Tetiana who is in charge of physical protection of Western Ukraine's Khmelnytskyy Nuclear Power Plant, was interviewed by NHK.
“This training course is practically useful for reconstructing the physical protection for nuclear material and facilities after the nuclear power plant restoration,” Ms. Tetiana said.
The training and Ms. Tatiana's interview was broadcast on NHK's news in the same day (27 October).
