Example of Axial Temperature Distribution (at 6th row)

 The figure below shows an example of irradiation temperature setting for material irradiation in the 6th row. The temperature of the coolant flowing inside the irradiation rig is about 450°C at the top. The temperature of the sample in the inert gas becomes higher than the coolant temperature due to γ-ray heat generation, etc. The maximum sample temperature in this example is 650°C, but it can be set in the range of 250*) to 1000°C by changing the type of inert gas or the gap size.
 *) Operation with a reactor coolant inlet temperature of 250°C
