Neutron Spectra at Various Positions in Joyo

 The figure below shows neutron spectra that are estimated by calculation for representative irradiation fields in Joyo. As the position moves closer to the core, the fraction of fast-energy neutron and the neutron flux level increases.
 Relatively flat neutron energy distribution is available at the upper-core structure and the ex-vessel irradiation hole, which are apart from the core in the axial and radial directions, respectively.
