Fuel Monitoring Facility (FMF)

 The FMF, a large-scale PIE facility with four stories above ground and two stories underground as well as a total floor area of 14,500m2, is located adjacent to Joyo.
 Nondestructive examinations of fuel subassemblies as well as nondestructive/destructive examinations of fuel pins are performed at the FMF.
 More detailed examinations are performed at the AGF and MMF by transporting the samples after preparation at the FMF.
 The PIE examination items are listed below.
