    2. Recruitment theme

      "Databasing on a virtual nuclear power plant for evaluating inverse problems of accidental conditions"
      It is planned to estimate conditions, such as distribution of debris heat generation for Units 1 to 3 of Fukushima-Daiichi, resolving reverse problems in which CFD code analysis results with various assumptions are compared with measured data so that realistic assumptions can be deduced. It is also expected to reflect data of plant inspection by robots and other means. With these efforts, physical models for each unit and analytical results can be obtained. Under this theme, it is required to review these models and analytical results confirming their appropriateness and integrate them into a systematic database which will serve as a virtual nuclear reactor.

      (This work will be conducted as part of JFY2014 supplementary budget “subsidiary fund for Project of Decommissioning and Contaminated Water Management (Upgrading level of grasping state inside reactor)”)

    5. Eligibility

      Candidates must have a doctoral degree (including applicants who will receive their doctoral degree by the time of employment) or equivalent ability.

    6. Terms of employments

      (1) Salary: 450,000 yen/month (including social insurance fee and tax)

      (2) Benefits: Commuting costs and housing allowance are provided at the same level with regular employees.
      (The contract term can be extended up to March 31, 2018 upon annual review of research achievements and upon the funding.)

      (3) Working Hours: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm.

      (4) Holiday: Weekend (Saturday and Sunday), national holidays, beginning/end of year holidays, paid holidays.

      (5) Social Insurance, etc.: Health insurance, welfare pension insurance, employee's pension fund, unemployment insurance, workers accident compensation insurance.

      (6) Lodgings: Institute family resident and dormitory are available.

    10. Document examination

      Examinees will be decided based on a review of the application documents. The result of the review will be notified via email or post. Application documents will not be returned to the applicant.

    18. Points to note

      (1) Applicants who pass the document examination are supposed to submit medical certificate taken within 6 months (including height, weight, eyesight, urinalysis, chest X-ray).

      (2) Candidates without Japanese Nationality are required to have the certificate of eligibility by the date of adoption in order to obtain a work permit in Japan.

    19. Treatment of personal information

      The submitted personal information will be used for recruitment only. Personal information of employee will be used for employment control. Other personal information will be scrapped 1 year after submission.
