Development of an AI-Integrated Simulation System Using Accelerators
Summary
The System Computational Science Center conducts research and development related to the decommissioning of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station and advancing backend countermeasures at the Japan Atomic Energy Agency. This theme involves developing atomic/molecular simulation methods using accelerators such as GPUs, as well as automated spectral analysis techniques for synchrotron radiation data. Additionally, we will establish an assistance environment utilizing large-scale language models and other technologies.

Compensation
Annual salary system based on ability and performance, various social insurances, transportation allowance, family housing available, and a single dormitory provided.
Terms of employment
(1) Salary: Commensurate salary with the applicant’s work experience.
(2) Allowance:Commutation and housing allowances are paid according to employees.
(3) Working Hours: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm.
(4) Intermission: 12:00 pm – 13:00 pm.
(5) Holiday: Weekend(Saturday and Sunday), national holidays, year-end holidays, paid holidays
(6) Social Insurance, etc.: Health insurance, welfare pension insurance, corporate pension fund, employment insurance, workers accident compensation insurance.
(7) Welfare: Family resident and dormitory are available
Eligibility Requirements
(1) Holders of a doctoral degree with at least one year of full-time teaching or research experience at a university or similar institution.
(2) Individuals with proven experience in developing numerical computation techniques utilizing accelerators such as GPUs.
(3) Those with experience in research and development related to machine learning are preferred.
