Theme: "Experimental Research on Energy Utilization via Spin"
Conduct experimental research on spin-energy science at the Advanced Science Research Center. Engage in experiments with novel magnetic materials for the development of thermoelectric power generators and small passive elements that operate stably even in radiation environments, utilizing spin thermoelectric effects and spin dynamics.

Contract term
From October 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025.
The contract period can be renewed but the total contract period is a maximum of 5 years depending upon the annual review of your research progress, contingent upon securing budgets allocated through the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (KAKENHI) A "Development of emergent passive elements for power control in the nano region" (led by Dr. Jun'ichi Ieda) and its continuation.
Terms of employment
(1) Salary: Commensurate salary with the applicant’s work experience.
(2) Allowance: Commutation and housing allowances are paid according to employees.
(3) Working Hours: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm.
(4) Intermission: 12:00pm-1:00pm
(5) Holiday: Weekend (Saturday and Sunday), national holidays, year-end holidays, paid holidays.
(6) Social Insurance, etc.: Health insurance, welfare pension insurance, corporate pension fund, employment insurance, workers accident compensation insurance.
(7) Welfare: Family resident and dormitory are available.
Qualification requirements
(1) Individuals who have obtained a doctoral degree and have at least one year of research experience as a full-time researcher such as a postdoc, after obtaining the doctoral degree.
(2) Researchers who have the enthusiasm and capability to engage in experimental research on spin thermoelectric effects and spin dynamics.
(3) Desirable to have sufficient knowledge and experience in experimental research on spin thermoelectric effects and spin dynamics.

Document examination
Examinees will be decided based on the review of application documents. Review result of the document screening and the details of the recruitment examination will be informed to the e-mail address specified in the application documents. Application documents will not be returned.

(2) Interview

Points to note
(1) Applicants who pass the document examination are supposed to submit medical certificate taken within 6 months (including height, weight, eyesight, urinalysis, chest X-ray).
(2) Candidates without Japanese Nationality are required to have the certificate of eligibility by the date of adoption in order to obtain a work permit in Japan.
Treatment of personal information
Submitted personal information will be used for recruitment only. Personal information of employee will be used for employment control. Other personal information will be scrapped 1 year after submission.
