(Summary)
Recent advances in nanoscale structural engineering have enabled materials to exhibit novel and enhanced functionalities. In the nuclear engineering field, nanofunctional materials are expected to revolutionize radionuclide separation and separation-based analytical techniques by enabling integrated separation-analysis platforms and compact functional devices.
The successful candidate will develop separation and analytical technologies for radionuclides based on nanofunctional materials, while investigating their degradation behavior under radiation exposure. The research will focus on establishing practical nanofunctional materials for applications in nuclear chemistry.
Furthermore, the candidate will investigate the radiation-induced responses of material surfaces that play key roles in the selective recognition of radionuclides. Through a fundamental understanding of these surface responses, the research aims to discover and develop novel functionalities that may open new avenues for a wide range of applications.

Qualification requirements
(1) Having a doctoral degree in the field related to the research theme.
*This includes working professionals who are currently enrolled in a doctoral program and are expected to get a doctoral degree by the date of employment.

9:00am-5:30pm (overtime work is required in needs)

‐Basic salary is provided considering years of experience in accordance with the JAEA regulation.
