(Summary)
Materials Sciences Research Center (MSRC) operates a suite of neutron scattering instruments at the research reactor JRR-3, including diffractometers, triple-axis spectrometers, and a small-angle scattering instrument, promotes fundamental materials research through their use. We are seeking a research scientist to pursue neutron scattering studies of advanced materials, particularly using the triple-axis spectrometers, TAS-1, TAS-2, and LTAS at JRR-3. The successful candidate will also contribute to the operation, maintenance, and further development of the instrument suite, while supporting user experiments.

Qualification requirements
(1) Having a Ph D. degree (or expected to obtain one before 31st, March 2027)
(2) Experience in scattering experiments and related techniques is desirable, but not mandatory

-Basic salary is provided considering years of experience in accordance with the JAEA regulation.

-Pay rise: Once a year in October
-Bonus: Twice a year in June and December
