      (Summary)
      The Laboratory for Deuterium Separation Technology Development at the Nuclear Science Research Institute is conducting research and development on the efficient recovery, concentration, and purification of deuterium, mainly using polymer electrolyte electrochemical systems.
      The successful candidate will engage on the development of technologies for the simultaneous production of hydrogen and recovery of deuterium, which will contribute to the realization of carbon neutrality; purification technologies for producing high-purity deuterium resources; and the development and mechanistic analysis of electrode catalysts that enable highly efficient deuterium separation and purification.
      Through these research activities, we seek a researcher who can contribute to the diversification of nuclear technologies and the strengthening of future energy and industrial infrastructure.

    5. Qualification requirements

      (1) Having a Ph D. degree (or expected to obtain one before 30th, September 2026)

      (2) Experience in electrochemical experiments and related techniques

    6. Terms of employment

      (1) Place of assignment

      (Overseas) Washington, Paris, Vienna

      (2) Holidays
      Weekend (Saturday and Sunday), National holidays, Year-end and new-year holidays, Paid holidays, etc.

      9:00am-5:30pm (overtime work is required in needs)

      -Basic salary is provided considering years of experience in accordance with the JAEA regulation.
