JAEA as the Implementing Agency of the Broader Approach Activities in the field of Fusion Energy ResearchJun. 1, 2007As of June 1, 2007, Agreement between the Government of Japan and the European Atomic Energy Community for the Joint Implementation of the Broader Approach Activities in the Field of Fusion Energy Research (the Broader Approach Agreement) entered into force, and the Japan Atomic Energy Agency (President: Toshio Okazaki) was designated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) as Japanese Implementing Agency of the Agreement.
