Security Advisory Regarding a Domain Formerly Used by JAEA

The Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA) has confirmed that the domain "cea-jaea-collaboration.net", which was previously used by JAEA, has now been acquired and is being used by a third party.
Any websites, email addresses, or other services associated with this domain are not affiliated with JAEA in any way and are neither operated, managed, nor endorsed by JAEA.

There have been cases in which domains previously used by government agencies, universities, research institutions, and other organizations have been acquired by third parties after the original organizations discontinued their use. Such domains may appear to be associated with the former organization or its historical websites; however, the current registrant or operator may have no connection whatsoever to the original organization. To avoid misunderstanding and mitigate potential security risks, users are advised to exercise caution when accessing websites, email messages, or other services using such domains and should not assume that they are associated with JAEA.
