Fuel Safety Research Meeting 2025 (FSRM2025) will be held on 22-24 October at Mito, Japan.
Objectives and Scope
The objectives of the meeting are to present and discuss results of experiments and analyses of fuel safety research at Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA) and to exchange views and experiences among the participants. In addition, this year marks the 50th anniversary of the first criticality of our Nuclear Safety Research Reactor (NSRR), and thus facility tour and reception are planned as commemorative events. The technical scope of the meeting covers nuclear fuel issues under a broad range of conditions from normal operations to the severe accidents.
