Theme: Advanced dating techniques using accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS)
This research theme aims to improve the AMS dating technique, including the establishment of a technique to remove measurement interfering molecules using ion beam-material interactions based on ion beam physics and solid-state physics.

Qualification requirements
(1) Candidates must have a doctoral degree and must have research careers as a researcher more than 1 year.
(2) Candidates must have experience using electrostatic accelerators, knowledge of ion beam-matter interaction and ion beam optics, and experience in apparatus development (especially ion beam control, use and analysis of two-dimensional detectors).

(4) Working Hours：8:30-17:00 *Discretionary Labor System is applicable

(6) Holidays：Weekend (Saturday and Sunday), National holidays, Year-end and new-year holidays, Annual paid leave, Special Leave, etc.

Points to note
(1) The candidate who passes the recruitment examination is required to submit medical certification written in English taken within 6 months (including height, weight, eyesight, urinalysis, chest X-ray).
(2) Candidates without Japanese nationality are required to have the certificate of eligibility by the date of adoption in order to obtain a work permit in Japan.
