Analytical research on core degradation, melting and relocation under severe accident conditions of BWR
      (Summary)
In the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant (1F), where boiling water reactors (BWR) were adopted, heated up core resulted in core damage, fuel/structure melting and their relocated toward lower plenum. This core degradation and core-material relocation behavior should be simulated with an appropriate combination of evaluations by 1) severe accident models, and 2) MPS (Moving Particle Semi-implicit) models so that conditions of relocating core materials can be quantified.
