      (Summary)
      We recruit a postdoctoral fellow who can demonstrate his/her ability for development of investigation techniques of geosphere on isotope geology and radiometric chronology.
      The above subjects are performed under projects for Science and Technology supported by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).

    5. Qualification requirements

      Applicants must have a Ph.D. in the closely related field. Those who have equivalent ability with extensive experience are also acceptable.

      Applicants are required to have sufficient background in 1) Isotope geology related to an investigation of geological environments, 2) Measurement of isotope with a noble gas mass spectrometer, and 3) Measurement of isotope with an accelerator mass spectrometer

    6. Terms of employment

      (1) Salary
      ~450,000 yen / month (inclusive of taxes and national health insurance)

      (2) Contract term
      From September 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017
      (The contract term can be extended up to March 31, 2019 upon annual review of research achievements and upon the funding.)

      (3) Holiday
      Weekend (Saturday and Sunday), national holidays, year-end holidays, paid holidays.

      (4) Working Hours
      8:30 am - 5:00 pm.

      Examinees will be decided based on the review of application documents. Review result will be informed by a letter. Application documents will not be returned.

    18. Points to note

      (1) Applicants who pass the document examination are supposed to submit medical certificate taken within 6 months (including height, weight, eyesight, urinalysis, chest X-ray).

      (2) Candidates without Japanese Nationality are required to have the certificate of eligibility by the date of adoption in order to obtain a work permit in Japan.

    19. Treatment of Personal Information

      Submitted personal information will be used for recruitment. Personal information of employee will be used for employment control. Other personal information will be scrapped 1 year later.
