The construction site for Broader Approach Projects in Rokkasho-mura has been decided.Nov. 16, 2006The construction site for the Broader Approach Activity, which is a joint implementation project between Japan and European Union aiming at early realization of fusion DEMO reactor, has been decided to Iyasaka-Daira-D areaEin Rokkasho-mura where was the ex-proposed area for the ITER Project, after due consultation with the authorities concerned. In the site, two of the three Broader Approach projects, which are the International Fusion Energy Research Center and the Engineering Verification and Engineering Design Activities for International Fusion Material Irradiation facility, will be conducted.  |
