Operation of Clearance System

Materials to be subject to clearance are measured by a clearance monitor according to prescribed procedures specified in the Operational Safety Programs. After confirmation of the regulator, it is determined to be reused as much as possible or treated and disposed as industrial waste.
"Measurement and evaluation method of radioactive material"  for clearance was approved by regulatory authorities in August 2018.
Currently, measurement work for clearance is proceeding for approximately 1,100 tons of dismantled and removed materials which are generated in the turbine building.

Clearance items that have been confirmed by regulatory authorities will be carefully treated by concrete methods for carrying out, reuse, etc., while getting social understanding.
Also, until that time, we will properly store and control them at the prescribed place in the site.
