    1. Number of employees

      Researcher: 1 person

    2. Recruitment field

      “Experimental study on spinmechatronics”
The research group for spin-energy transformation science aims to create a new research field ‘spinmechatronics’, in which mechanical motions such as rotation and vibration are integrated into spintronics via spin-rotation coupling. It is supervised by Dr. Eiji Saitoh, leader of ERATO project “Spin Quantum Rectification”. In this project, a candidate needs to find some new phenomena originating from a coupling between the mechanical degrees of freedom and electron/nuclear spins. Furthermore, by applying experimental techniques developed in the project, he/she must unveil new aspects of magnetism which has not been so far clarified by conventional methods. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person who has much experience on study of spintronics and nuclear magnetic resonance experiment. In addition, he/she must have enough knowledge of electronic states and magnetism of various magnetic materials. This project will be carried out as a part of Saitoh-ERATO project “Spin Quantum Rectification”.
