      Development of Lead-bismuth Eutectic Spallation Target for J-PARC Transmutation Experimental Facility
      (Summary)
      Proton beam irradiation data of structural materials for Accelerator-driven Transmutation System under lead-bismuth flowing is important to design the systems, and should be taken systematically. In this research program, we call for a senior post doctorial fellow who will engaged in the study to develop a lead-bismuth eutectic spallation target, which will be installed to J-PARC Transmutation Experimental Facility for taking such irradiation data, through thermal hydraulics analyses, etc. He/she also will carry out investigation on properties of lead-bismuth target in proton irradiation conditions.

      Commensurate salary with the applicant’s work experience, Social Insurance, Commutation allowance, Institute family residence and bachelor’s dormitory are available.

   6. Terms of employment

      Contract term: One year
      (The contract term can be extended up to five years upon annual review of research achievements.)
      Should you achieve outstanding results during your temporary employment, you could be offered a position as permanent Staff.

   8. Qualification requirements

      (1) Having a Ph.D.degree.

      (2) In principle, work experience as a postdoctoral fellow (at least for one year) or equivalent skills are required.

   20. Points to note

       (1) Applicants who pass the document examination are supposed to submit medical certificate taken within 6 months (including height, weight, eyesight, urinalysis, chest X-ray).

       (2) Candidates without Japanese Nationality are required to have the certificate of eligibility by the date of adoption in order to obtain a work permit in Japan.

       Submitted personal information will be used for recruitment. Personal information of employee will be used for employment control. Other personal information will be scrapped 1 year later.
