      (Summary)
      Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA) implements technological development for nuclear nonproliferation and security. This is a contribution to the world for the peaceful use of atomic energy by using JAEA’s knowledge and technologies.
      This theme includes development of active neutron technology and wide area monitoring technology as development of nuclear detection and measurement technology, and development of gamma/neutron measurement/imaging technology for initial response to nuclear security events as development of nuclear forensics technology. The applicant conducts simulation analysis and equipment development related to radionuclides, gamma ray detectors, etc., as well as other research related to nuclear nonproliferation and nuclear security.

    5. ualification requirements

      (1) Having a Ph.D. degree in the field related to the research theme

      (2) An applicant who has knowledge of nuclear safeguards and security, as well as experience on measurement of neutrons and gamma-rays and on Monte-Carlo simulations is preferred.

    6. Terms of employment

      (1)Holidays
      Saturday, Sunday, National holiday, Year-end holiday, Paid holiday, etc.

      9:00am-5:30pm

      (4)Salary (For example)
      -Starting salary (Dr’s Degree): 258,300yen/month (Result in April, 2020)
      -Allowance : Commutation allowance, Family allowance,
      House allowance , Research allowance, etc.
      -Pay raise : Once per year.(Performance for last year)
      -Bonus : Twice per year. (Performance for last year)

      【Points to Note for Web Application】

    18. Points to note

      (1) Applicants who pass the recruitment examination are supposed to submit documents below.
