Conclusion of Cooperation Agreement between Japan Atomic Energy Agency and National Cancer Center for Research and Development of Radiopharmaceuticals
The Japan Atomic Energy Agency (President: Masanori Koguchi) and the National Cancer Center (President: Hitoshi Nakagama) announced today that they have concluded a cooperation agreement for research and development on radiopharmaceuticals and supply chain establishment.
With the conclusion of this agreement, JAEA's radioisotope production technology and NCC's medicine discovery experience will be utilized to produce medical radioisotopes and further research on radiopharmaceuticals, which will lead to building a supply chain for, and advance research on medical radioisotopes.
