Research theme: Upgrade of the J-PARC Control System
(Summary)
The J-PARC is a multipurpose research complex using high intensity proton beams. In order to achieve its maximum performance, upgrade of the accelerator control system will be studied under EPICS (Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System). The purposes of this system are (1) to establish integrated control system for timing and parameter settings appropriate to every operation mode with multi-user, (2) to achieve efficient control, (3) to exclude beam loss due to control error. Development of man-machine interface will be also studied so as to perform appropriate operation in changing operation mode.

Contract term: One year
(The contract term can be extended up to five years upon annual review of research achievements.)

8.Qualification requirements
(1) Having a Ph.D.degree .
(2) In principle, work experience as a postdoctoral fellow (at least for one year) or equivalent skills are required.
(3) Experiences of researches for accelerator and/or its application.
