1. Available Positions and Research Theme
Scientific Position: one senior scientist, who will be engaged in “Advanced Fundamental Research on Hydrogen Storage Materials” being carried out as the national project supported by NEDO, New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization.
Applicants are required to fill or meet the following abilities, experiences etc.
- more than 15 years experience with research in experimental physics,
- well developed, broad knowledge base from fundamental to applied research,
- ability to lead and inspire collaborators in the interdisciplinary projects,
- experience as a leader of big research project related to material science or synchrotron radiation science,
- strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent presentation and publication capabilities and ability to effectively coordinate collaborative efforts involving several different organizations and institutions.

6. Terms of employment
(1) Salary Commensurate with the applicant’s work experience
(2) Contract term Until March 31, 2011
(The contract term can be extended up to March , 2012 upon annual review of research achievements.)
(3) Holiday Weekend (Saturday and Sunday), national holidays, year-end holidays, paid holidays
(4) Working Hours 9 am - 5:30 pm
