Research theme: Development of Beam Diagnostics for the J-PARC Linac
(Summary)
Development of beam diagnostics for the J-PARC linac, which is a front end the J-PARC accelerator facilities, will be carried out. The candidate will develop beam monitors such as beam current monitor, phase monitor, position and profile monitor, etc. and analogue and digital signal processing circuits. These monitor system will be installed and evaluated through beam experiments.

Commensurate salary with the applicant’s work experience, Social Insurance, Commutation allowance, Institute family residence and bachelor’s dormitory are available.


6. Terms of employment
Contract term: One year
(The contract term can be extended up to five years upon annual review of research achievements.)

Weekend (Saturday and Sunday), National holidays, Year-end holidays, Paid holidays


8.Qualification requirements
(1) Having a Ph.D.degree .
(2) In principle, work experience as a postdoctoral fellow (at least for one year) or equivalent skills are required.
(3) Experiences by means of accelerator research.
