Research theme: Research on Decommissioning Technology
(Summary)
To reduce decommissioning cost by implementing efficient decommissioning, the researcher will study on a method for optimizing a decommissioning plan and advance the evaluation method. He will evaluate decommissioning project management data (workload, amount of waste generated, decommissioning cost and correlation between them) for the nuclear facilities in JAEA, analyze the actual data, and thereby improve the evaluation model. Further he will promote the research through information exchange in the international cooperation program.

The applicant who
(1)holds a Ph.D or Master’s degree, or will obtain a Ph.D or Master’s degree by March 31, 2010, and
(2)was born after April 2, 1974.

9:00 am - 5:30 pm (principle)
(5) Salary (For example):
-Starting salary
Master degree: 209,200 yen (Performance for last year)
Doctor degree: 249.200 yen (Performance for last year)
*Taking into account the experience, salary would be decided by the wage administration regulation of JAEA.
-Allowance: Commutation allowance, Family allowance, House allowance, Research allowance, etc.
-Pay raise: Once per year. (Performance for last year)
-Bonus: Twice per year. (Performance for last year)
