(1) Field: Complex Synthesis, Structural Analysis , Synchrotron Science
(2) Research Topics: " Analyses for the structures of metal ion-carboxylic acid and amine type ligand complexes ".
In this study, the complex synthesis of platinum group elements, lanthanides, and uranium with carboxylic acid and secondary amine as decomposition products of mono-amide, and the structural analyses for these complexes using x-ray crystallography and EXAFS will be carried out in order to clarify the relationship between structural stabilities of theses complexes and separation behaviors.
The research program will be conducted under the METI's project of "Development of decontamination technique of uranium recovered from reprocessing of FBR fuels" starting from December, 2009.

4. Qualification for Application
Candidates must have a PhD degree (including applicants who will receive their PhD degree by the time of employment)

January 1, 2010
6. Terms of employment
(1)Salary:~450,000 yen/month (inclusive of taxes and national health insurance)
(2)Employment period: Until March 31, 2009.
(3)Commuting and Housing allowances: The same as staff members are provided.
(4)Holidays:weekends, national holidays, year-end holidays, paid holidays, etc.
(5) Social Insurance, etc…

Institute family resident and dormitory are availavle.
